DIY Stud Earrings Holder Tutorial

Lately I have been watching so many DIY videos on YouTube and I got really inspired and excited to make some myself. I share my dressing table with my aunt and she bought me this small container with drawers to put my accessories in. Initially it was really good and as my collection grew it started tangling with one another and I have a hard time finding the right pair. So I decided to make some earring organizers, one for my stud earrings which I will be showing today and another for my dangling earrings which I intend to show some another time. So, do visit back this blog for more updates! *winks*

Okay, these are the items that you need. All items can be found at home and you do not even need to spend a single cent.

My aunt was clearing her stuff and she gave me this box which was the perfect size for my studs. Plus it came with the sponge.

If your box does not come with a sponge, you can use the sponge that we use for washing dishes which works fine. But you may need to alter according to the size of your box.

These items are optional. They are just for decorative purposes.

Okay, so let's get started!

My sponge had some designs so I just flipped them to the back.

You can glue the sides if you want, but I decided not to in case I want to use the box for other purposes in the future. If you are using the dishwasher sponge, glue them together using superglue so that it will stick for a long time. Make sure it is the right fit for the box so it doesn't come out easily.

This step is optional. If you like your box the way it is, you can skip this step. I wanted to decorate it because it had the logo and it was slight stained. You can use your favourite card stock and embellishments to decorate it. I kept it simple by wrapping it with a cream coloured paper and some lace tapes.

This is the fun part! You can started organizing your studs. I removed the backing and placed all of them in my empty acne cream container. I prefer them that way so that I can easily wear them especially if I am in a rush. So, this is how mine looks.

I do have a number of stud earrings so I am glad all of them was able to fit in this. I plan to get more of those hook types in the future to fill up my earring holder before making a tutorial. But I love the whole look.

This can also be an amazing and simple gift for any occasion, be it Christmas, Valentine's Day and even Birthdays.

You can present it with a cute little paper bow either at the top or at the front.

Overall it was a simple and fun project. It doesn't take too much of your time and now choosing your stud earrings is so much easier. I hope you will have fun doing this. Do tag me on Instagram or Twitter if you were to make this. I love seeing different versions of this project. Cheers!
